Radio agreement will air entire Alaska Wild regular season games during the 2008 season

Alaska Professional Sports, Inc. is proud to announce a new one-year radio partnership agreement with New Northwest Broadcasters, LLC (NNB) for the 2008 Alaska Wild Intense Football League (IFL) season. This agreement guarantees all fourteen regular season games will be broadcast on XROCK 96.3 FM live. The Radio agreement also includes an Alaska Wild Coaches show to air each Wednesday morning from 8:30am to 9:00am on XROCK 96.3 FM.

Last season, the Alaska Professional Sports, Inc. had the satisfaction of having all fourteen Alaska Wild regular season games air on XROCK 96.3 FM and now the partnership has been renewed for the 2008 season.

With the returning stars of the Wild and the recruitment which Hans Deemer and Abe Hernandez have been doing in the off season as well as the expansion of the IFL into Fairbanks, we fully believe that Alaska will see and hear an incredible 2008 season of Wild Football", said Tom Oakes, Vice President/Programming New Northwest Broadcasters, LLC. XROCK 96.3 FM is now broadcasting on the internet so all games will be heard not only on XROCK 96.3 FM but on-line around the world on www.xrock963.com.

New Northwest Broadcasters has four Anchorage, Alaska stations which are KFAT 92.9 FM, The Buzz KDBZ 102.1 FM, KBBO 92.1 BOB FM and XROCK KXLW 96.3 FM.

The Alaska Wild is part of the Intense Football League (IFL). Founded in 2003, the IFL consists of a record nine professional indoor football teams, three of which are located outside of Texas, the Louisiana Swashbucklers of Lake Charles, LA , the Alaska Wild of Anchorage, Alaska and the recently added Fairbanks Grizzlies of Fairbanks, Alaska. Texas teams include the CenTex Barracudas of Belton, Corpus Christi Hammerheads, Odessa Roughnecks, San Angelo Stampede Express, Katy Ruff Riders, and Frisco Thunder.
