Belton. Tx: The Barracudas are pleased to announce the signing of two experienced coaches that will assist Head Coach Chris Duliban to a successful 2008 season. "I have been working very hard to bring on these two fine coaches, because I feel that with their understanding of the game and my history of working with these guys we will have an opportunity to bring a championship season to CenTex, and with that I give you Coach Kerry Cash, and Coach David Contreras!" Stated Head Coach Chris Duliban.
Kerry Cash - Former University of Texas player from 1987-1991. Cash was then drafted by the Colts, and played three years there after which he played for the Raiders in 1995, and the Bears in 1996. Cash was asked to run the Texas Terminators as the GM in 1998. In 2003, he hooked up with Duliban for the first time as the Offensive Coordinator for the Austin Rockers.
David Contreras - Started his career with the United States Air Force Reserves in 1987 and continues to serve his country. He was apart of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2005, and again in 2007. He began his coaching career in 1990 as the Head Coach for WAYA Corasairs, and after twelve years there he moved to Hyde Park where he was the Jr High Head Coach, and Varsity Assistant. After getting to know Coach Duliban in 2003, he was offered the opportunity to be the Special Teams/Running Back Coach for the Austin Rockers in 2003.
All Coaches will be available upon request for interviews.
TRYOUTS: The CenTex Barracudas will host a combine/tryout in Saturday, December 15th at the team's home arena the Bell County Expo Center. The combine/tryout, which will be open to players at all positions, will begin at 10:00a.m., with doors opening for registration at 9:00 a.m.
DATE: December 15, 2007 LOCATION: Bell County Expo Center, Belton, Tx
TESTING: 40 yd dash, 20 yd shuttle, bench press, broad jump, high jump, as well as individual position specific drills and one-on-one competition.
POSITIONS: All Positions ATTIRE: Turf Shoes & workout clothing EQUIPMENT: None
FIELD SURFACE: Indoor Field Turf FEE: $50 Pre-Registration and $60 Day of
