Racers Alums Have Eventful Off-Season

Elgin, IL- Several members of the 2007 Elgin Racers have signed on to play with professional teams both domestically and abroad during the IBL off-season. The players and their teams are listed below:
Keith Gayden Iowa Energy (NBDL)
DeAnthony Bowden Great Falls Explorers (CBA), Iowa Energy (NBDL)
Nick Michael Sea of Belfast (Ireland Superleague)
Sherick Simpson Cicero Cometas (ABA)
Derrick Hollyfield Quad City Riverhawks (PBL)
Brandon Watkins Greece
Gayden joins three other players from 2007 IBL teams to earn spots on NBDL rosters this season. Abdoulaye N'Diaye (Vancouver Volcanoes), Mike Efevberha (Santa Barbara Breakers), and Jovan Harris (Tri Valley Titans) were also on NBDL rosters at the time of this writing.
More than 100 players from 2007 IBL rosters moved on to contracts with professional teams during this IBL off-season.
