Quarterback Dayne Crist to Play in Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game

The rosters for the 2013 Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game are beginning to take shape. Kansas quarterback Dayne Crist has committed to play in the second annual event at Kino Stadium on January 11 at 7:00 pm. Crist is one of many players secured for the game. The full list of coaches and players will be announced in the coming weeks.

Crist began his NCAA career at the University of Notre Dame and recently finished his collegiate career at the University of Kansas. This season, he completed 103 passes for 1,313 yards and four touchdowns. His best season came in 2010 at Notre Dame, when he passed for 2,033 yards and 15 touchdowns, while throwing only seven interceptions. The Sherman Oaks, California native played at Notre Dame High School and was considered one of the best high school quarterbacks in the country in 2007.

"It is an incredible honor to play in the Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game," said Crist. "I am flattered to be selected and excited to get to Tucson and meet my new teammates for the game."

The 2013 Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game will be televised on the ESPN family of networks, including ESPN3 and WatchESPN.com. The game will be carried on radio locally on ESPN Tucson 1490 AM and 104.9 FM. Partners for the game include the Tucson Conquistadores, a charitable organization that supports youth in athletic programs throughout southern Arizona.
