
Quad City heads to Texas for Quaterfinal Contest

Davenport - The # 9 ranked Quad City Riverhawks (24-9) were informed this evening that they will be playing the # 3 ranked Texas Tycoons (21-5) on Monday, March 19 at 7:30pm in Dallas, Texas.
The Riverhawks received a bye after their second round opponent, the Minnesota Ripkness, decided to forfeit for an undisclosed reason. The Tycoons faced a similar scenario as their second round opponent, the Detroit Panthers, forfeited as well resulting in a bye for Round 2.
The winner of the Quad City/Texas game will make it to the Final Four of the ABA Playoffs. The Riverhawks will host a game at Beyond the Baseline Field House with a victory and if Beijing loses its' second round game vs. San Diego or its' quarterfinal contest against Buffalo who upset the # 2 ranked Jacksonville Jam last evening.
