Davenport - The Quad City Riverhawks (23-8) Professional Basketball team played a physical game against the Peoria Kings (16-17) in their last home game of the regular season. The Riverhawks ended the season on a good note and look forward to the upcoming playoffs.
Riverhawks took a 43-18 lead and never looked back on track to a 129-105 victory against the Peoria Kings and won the "War on 74." Lonnie Randolph led the Riverhawks in the first half with 17 points and both Tony Weeden and Ryan Edwards contributed 11 points each. Phillip Gilbert led the Kings with 13 points in the first half.
Randolph ended with a triple double scoring 31 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and adding 13 assists. Edwards contributed a double double scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds. Ex Riverhawk Caleco Buie, led the Kings with 30 points and Gilbert added 24 points.
The Riverhawks take on the Minnesota Ripknees on March 8 in the Twin Cities and the begin post season play. Dates and times are yet to be finalized. For more information call the Riverhawks office at 563/445-2375.
