Quad City Mallards News Release

Moline, IL- The board of the Quad City Civic Center announced today their approval to transfer the lease agreement from Victory Sports Group to QC Sports Ventures, Inc. (subject to the delivery of anticipated agreement on or before the closing date).

QC Sports Ventures, Inc. has named Tim Taylor as President of the Quad City Mallards. Taylor, currently in his first season with the Mallards, spent four years with the Muskegon Fury. During his tenure in Muskegon, Taylor was part of an organization that captured three of the last four Colonial Cup Championships (2002, 2004 & 2005).

In addition to these new developments the Quad City Mallards, in conjunction with The Mark of the Quad Cities, also announced that all tickets for the Mallards' first home playoff game will be available to fans for just $2. Both entities felt that this was a great opportunity to welcome fans back to The MARK and to say "thank you" to the community for their continued support while also raising funds for a worthy cause. A portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit Genesis Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.

The specially discounted tickets are available to the public at The MARK box office or Ticketmaster outlets (563-326-1111 or ticketmaster.com).

The opening round series comes to The MARK on Wednesday, April 26th for Game Three. Start time is 7:00 p.m. Individual tickets for all Mallards playoff games are available to the public beginning on Wednesday. Tickets are available at The MARK box office or via Ticketmaster (563-326-1111 or ticketmaster.com). Mallards season ticket holders can pick up their playoff tickets now at The MARK box office.
