
QMJHL Confirms Trades Of Ritter And Avtsin

BOUCHERVILLE, Friday, October 16, 2009 - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League confirmed a few trades on Friday. The Shawinigan Cataractes acquired winger Toni Ritter (90-02-06) from the Montreal Juniors for a seventh round pick in 2010.
Ritter has four points in nine games so far this season.
Moreover, the Quebec Remparts sent Alexander Avtsin (91-03-19), a fourth round pick of the Montreal Canadiens in last June's draft, and a second round pick in the 2010 CHL Import Draft to the Montreal Juniors for a first round selection in the 2010 CHL Import Draft.
