
Prowlers Open with Shootout Victory

Port Huron Prowlers News Release
Dayton, OH - The Port Huron Prowlers opened the season with a victory Friday night.
The Prowlers came from behind to defeat the Dayton Demolition, 4-3, in a shootout.
Chris Leveille scored in regulation and also twice in the shootout round in the victory. Dustin Skinner, Joe Pace Jr. and Jared Hicks scored the other Prowlers goals.
Port Huron was outshot 50-35 but still found a way to win. Port Huron was 0-for-4 on the power play while Dayton was 1-for-9. Curtin Martinu had 47 saves for the Prowlers.
The Prowlers will return home Saturday for the home opener against the Danville Dashers.
