EASTLAKE, OH - CV Marketing Group, LLC, in partnership with Corporate Vision League, is proud to announce that the Second Annual Joe Haden & Friends Celebrity Softball Game, presented by Lake Health, will take place at Classic Park in Eastlake, OH, the home of the Lake County Captains Professional Baseball Club, on Saturday, June 6, 2015.
The special event will feature a pre-game homerun hitting contest at 6 PM before the 7 PM softball game that will include Haden's teammates playing against professional football players from other teams in a seven-inning contest. Gates will open to the public at 5 PM.
Haden has also extended invitations to several of his friends who compete on other professional football teams, receiving early commitments from Cam Newton, LeSean McCoy, Earl Thomas, Mike Pouncey, Maurkice Pouncey, Randall Cobb and Richard Sherman.
Several of Haden's teammates have been invited to participate in the event and those individuals, along with participants from other football teams, will be announced at a later date.
The softball game is designed to be an interactive experience between players and attendees with opportunities to take photos with, and get autographs from the game's participants and be entertained by in-game promotions and giveaways.
As a first round draft pick in 2010 following an All-American collegiate career at the University of Florida, where he also won a National Championship, Haden has gone on to become one of the most talented defensive backs in Professional Football and was named to his second post-season all star game in 2014.
In January, Haden was named a Global Ambassador of Special Olympics, the first professional football player to receive the title, and a portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit local Special Olympics chapters.
All tickets for the event are reserved, with Grandstand seats only $25 in advance and $40 on the day of the game. 20-person Luxury Suites ($30/ticket) and 40-person outdoor Party Decks ($30/ticket) may also be reserved by calling the Classic Park Office.
A limited number of 50 VIP Packages will be sold for $100 each and will include: a premium first row Grandstand seat; pre-game on-field meet-and-greet with game participants and an event t-shirt.
Tickets are on sale now and may be purchased in-person at the Classic Park Box Office, over the phone at 440.954.WINS and online at www.CaptainsBaseball.com .
In addition to the Special Olympics, other proceeds from the game, including a softball game-used jersey auction, will benefit the Lake County Captains 501c3 non-profit organization, Captains Charities, which benefits local youth sports and educational programs, the Lake Health Foundation.
