
Privateers To Host Charity Auction, Hockey Clinic

To fulfill popular demand, the 1000 Islands Privateers are excited to announce their first team auction and a one-day hockey clinic. Following Sunday ¬â¢s home game against Rome at 3 PM, the team will auction off game-used merchandise, signed gear, and unique fan experiences. Some lucky fans could even win a Valentine ¬â¢s Day date with a player. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern New York. The team will also host a one-day hockey clinic Monday, January 17th at the Bonnie Castle Rec Center. The event will run all day, and youth players age 5-14 can improve their skills with drills and scrimmages led by the Privateers and coaches. For more information on both events, call 315-382-5656.
The 1000 Islands Privateers operate in Alexandria Bay and are a founding franchise in the Federal Hockey League.
