Privateers Announce Press Conference at Savory Downtown

The 1000 Islands Privateers will be holding a press conference at Savory Downtown on Thursday, July 12 at 2:30 pm. Savory Downtown is located at 300 Washington Street (inside the Best Western) in Watertown, New York.
Privateers' ownership will be announcing their new head coach and several returning players. Additionally, the Privateers will be describing corporate partnership and community involvement opportunities. Anticipated speakers include several key city officials, community leaders, and members of the Privateers' front office.
All members of the community and press are encouraged to attend.
The 1000 Islands Privateers are an 'A' level professional hockey team competing in the Federal Hockey League. Entering into their third season, the Privateers recently announced that they will call the City of Watertown's Fairground Arena home for the upcoming 2012-2013 season. Other teams in the Federal Hockey League include the Danbury Whalers, Dayton Devils, Danville Dashers, New Jersey Outlaws, and the Cape Cod Bluefins.
