
Privateers Announce Exhibition Game

The 1000 Islands Privateers are excited to host an exhibition game against the Mountaineers team from Fort Drum. The teams will meet Friday night at 7 PM at the Bonnie Castle Rec Center. The event will be a fundraiser for the Fort Drum USO and Mountaineer hockey team. ¬ÅWe are excited to announce that the Privateers will be playing the Mountaineers. As a large number of the Mountaineers' team prepares for deployment within the next month, we are pleased for the opportunity to honor these individuals and the USO on Fort Drum, ¬Â commented Team President, Nicole Kirnan. Tickets will be $7 for adults and $5 for children. Tickets for the originally scheduled game against the Rome Frenzy will be honored.
The 1000 Islands Privateers operate in Alexandria Bay and are a founding franchise in the Federal Hockey League. The Privateers play at the Bonnie Castle Recreation Center in Alexandria Bay. ¬ÅThe future is now ¬Â in the Federal Hockey League as the top talent play professional hockey with a chance to advance their careers.
