American Defenders of New Hampshire News Release

On the field, the Nashua Pride has continued to impress in the Atlantic League, currently sitting atop the North Division with a 17-10 record, followed closely by Long Island at 16-10. This despite the departure of Curtis Pride, Brian Smith and Brian Looney last week, and the loss of catcher Damien Sapp for 4-6 weeks with a fractured thumb. Instead of falling back, the Pride roared ahead, taking 5 of 6 on its recent homestand with Somerset and Long Island, and have currently split two games with Somerset, winning last night 8-6 in 10 inning, a game that featured 4-for-6 nights at the plate by newly acquired DH Mitch Melusky and 2B Joe Kilburg, who hit for the cycle. Tonight, Tommy Taylor (2-1) takes the mound for the Pride vs. the Patriots Rick Krivda (1-2) in the rubber match of the Somerset series.
