Bears Game Versus Atlantic City Postponed

NEWARK, NJ, May 31-This evening's Atlantic League game between the Newark Bears and the Atlantic City Surf has been postponed due to poor weather conditions. The two teams will make the game up at a later date, which is still to be determined.
Fans with tickets for today's scheduled game may exchange them for tickets to any other game on the Bears 2003 schedule. Exchanges may be made at the Bears box office at Bears and Eagles Riverfront Stadium. The Bears ticket office number is (973) 483-6900.
Newark will open a three game series on the road in Nashua on Sunday afternoon at 2:05 PM. Right-hander Matt Wagner (3-0, 1.07) will be the Bear's starting pitcher on Sunday.
