(Nashua, N.H., June 22, 2008) Pride catcher Luis Rodriguez went 3-for-3 with three RBI and a run scored, as Nashua defeated the Ottawa Rapidz, 10-6, in front of 1675 fans at Historic Holman Stadium.

The Pride received a balanced attack throughout their line-up, with every player registering at least one run scored. Center fielder Vinny Pennell enjoyed his second four hit game within a week, finishing the night 4-for-5 with a double and an RBI. Second baseman Ismael Castro went 3-for-5 with two RBI, while Jack Joffrion, Aregenis Tavarez, Bryan Duplisssie, and Sandy Almonte also each knocked in a run.

Pride starting pitcher Jarrett Stawarz earned his second victory of the season (2-1), lasting six and one-third innings, giving up six runs (three earned), on ten hits, three walks and one strike out. Reliever Adam Piechowski was the lone man out of the bullpen for the Pride, recording his first save of the season in two and two-thirds innings of work, allowing no runs, on three hits, one walk and four strike outs.

Rapidz starter Orlando Trias suffered the loss (1-4), going five and one-third innings, giving up six runs, on eight hits, five walks and five strike outs. Relievers Dallas Strankman and Jason Wilson combined to give up four runs in one inning of work.

Ottawa first baseman Jabe Bergeron belted his second home run of the season the game, finishing 3-for-3, adding a double and three RBI. The Rapidz also received RBI from Jaun-Carlos Infante, Jereme Milons, and Kyle Geiger.

The Pride get set for a seven game road trip, beginning in Atlantic City, when the Naashua take on the Surf in a four game series for the first time this season. Nashua is scheduled to send German Melendez (1-1) to the mound in the series opener at 7:05pm on Monday night.
