Hudson, New Hampshire Native Isaac Burkett Signed by Pride

(Nashua, N.H., June 22, 2008) Nashua Pride Officials have announced today that the team has signed right handed pitcher Isaac Burkett. The 6-foot, 5-inch, Hudson, New Hampshire native will join the Pride pitching staff and look to add depth to the bullpen and possibly compete for a starting role.

Burkett is coming off of his senior year at Nashua's Rivier College, where he was the staff ace. Burkett finished his final collegiate season as one of the top pitchers in the GNAC Conference, with a 2.28 ERA and 80 strike outs in 59.1 innings pitched.

The Nashua Pride Professional Baseball Club, entering its 11th season, provides a fun, affordable, community-based and fan-friendly source of sports entertainment. The 2007 Can-Am League Champions will be participating in its third year of play in the Canadian-American Association of Professional Baseball.
