May 18, 2004 - ECHL (ECHL)
Myrtle Beach Thunderboltz News Release
FLORENCE, SC â The Pee Dee Pride announced today a new ticket program aimed at exposing Pride hockey to more people. The Community Pride program allows businesses or individuals to purchase season or group tickets, and in turn, donate the tickets to area non-profit organizations.
"This program is a great way for businesses and individuals to allow students throughout the Pee Dee area to enjoy a great night of entertainment at a Pride game," Pride Chief Operating Officer Debbie Hyler said. "You can choose any school in the area to receive these tickets, and then the principal will distribute the tickets to deserving students.
"Additionally, this program is not limited to schools," Hyler added. "Churches, Cub Scout packs, or any other group that you feel is deserving can be covered by the Community Pride program."
All individuals and businesses who participate in this program will be recognized through a press release issued at the start of the season, on the Pride web-site, and in the Pride game-day program.
For more information on the Community Pride program, call the Pride office at (843) 669-7825.
