SANDY, Utah - Utah Royals FC return to face Sky Blue FC at Rio Tinto Stadium after taking a 12-day league-wide break in conjunction with the FIFA Women's World Cup.
DF Kelley O'Hara (USA), FW Christen Press (USA), DF Becky Sauerbrunn (USA), DF Rachel Corsie (SCO), DF Katie Bowen and MF Desiree Scott (CAN) will once again be absent from the match as they are all participating in the World Cup with their respective national teams.
In their last match, Utah Royals FC suffered its second defeat of the season, falling 2-0 to the Washington Spirit.
After further review from the NWSL Disciplinary Committee, Lo'eau LaBonta was issued a two-game suspension for an incident that occurred in the 53rd minute with Orlando Pride defender Carson Pickett on May 25th. She has previously served the first of her two suspensions and will serve her second against Sky Blue FC.
URFC enters the match with a 2-0-1 (7 points) all-time record against Sky Blue. Saturday's match will mark the second time these two sides have faced each other this season, most recently Royals FC drew 2-2 with Sky Blue in New Jersey in a match that included a dramatic last-minute stoppage-time goal from FW Amy Rodriguez to earn a vital point on the road.
