PITTSBURGH - Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC (15-4-10) prepares for a top-five showdown against Indy Eleven (17-7-5) at 7 p.m. this Saturday at Highmark Stadium. The Eleven currently sit second and the Hounds fifth in the Eastern Conference, separated by only one point.
Game Notes
Earlier this season, Pittsburgh defeated the Eleven ,1-0, on May 29 at Highmark Stadium in the third round of Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup action. However, Indy earlier defeated Riverhounds SC in league play, 2-1, on June 1 at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Pittsburgh puts a streak of 23 regular season unbeaten home matches on the line against Indy. The Hounds hold a 9-0-6 record at Highmark Stadium this season and haven't dropped a regular season home game at the venue since July 21, 2018.
On the other hand, Indy is coming off of a 2-1 loss to Atlanta United 2 this past Wednesday. The Eleven are 2-3-0 in their past five games.
