INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - The Missouri Comets (8-1) return to action tomorrow night when they visit the Waza Flo (4-3) at the Dort Federal Event Center in Flint, Michigan. The match, which will kick off at 6:35 p.m. CT, will be streamed live on Go Live Sports Cast. In game updates can also be followed on Twitter at @CometsMASL.

Following two consecutive home contests, Coach Vlatko Andonovski's team hits the road for the sixth time this season. The last time the Comets lost a regular season game away from home was nearly two years ago when they fell to Milwaukee on January 18, 2014. Ever since, Missouri has earned a victory in each of its last eighteen visits.

The Waza Flo will enter the match well rested as they enjoyed a bye last weekend. So far, Coach (and player) Costea Decu's team stands second in the Eastern Division and have won their last two games, both at home against Milwaukee and Syracuse. Forward Leonardo de Oliveira leads the team with 13 points off of six goals and seven assists.

On the other hand, the Comets lead the Central Division with eight wins and one defeat. However, Missouri bounced back after suffering their first loss of the season two weeks ago with a convincing 12-5 victory over the Tacoma Stars. Team captain Vahid Assadpour leads the league with 10 goals and 18 assists for a total of 28 points.

Goalkeeper Boris Pardo leads the league in wins with eight and stands third overall with averaging 4.42 goals per game with a .735 save percentage.

Missouri will be without forward Max Touloute and defender Alain Matingou due to injury.

Next up, the Comets return home to the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena on Tuesday, December 29 at 7:35 p.m. when they host cross state rival St. Louis Ambush for the third and last time this season. For tickets, call 855-4KC-GOAL or visit ticketmaster.com.
