Series: With a 9-5 win last night, the Bees took the series opener against the Skeeters. New Britain has now won three straight games overall vs. Sugar Land.

The Bees: Jonathan Roof has been one of the Bees' best run producers over the past ten games, with his seven RBIs ranking as the second best number on the team in that span (Jon Jones- 10). Roof is also hitting .343 (12-35) with six runs scored during these last ten games.

The Opposition: Third baseman Patrick Palmeiro has been red-hot for the Skeeters of late, batting .500 (5-10) over his last five games with seven RBIs (including a 3-4, one RBI night against the Bees in last night's game).
