Series: Bridgeport took last night's game by a 3-1 score after breaking a 1-1 tie in the eighth inning. The four game series in Bridgeport is even at one game apiece, with the Bees taking Thursday's contest by a 7-6 margin.

The Bees: Steve Carrillo, the Bees' leadoff man last night, was able to reach base on a single to start the game, one of five total New Britain hits. Greg Golson and James Skelton both saw hit streaks come to an end in last night, with Golson going 0-4 and Skelton going 0-2 with two walks.

The Opposition: Jiwan James scored the go ahead run in the eighth inning of the game, and had an RBI in yesterday's game. Bridgeport's pitching staff struck out 14 Bees last night, a season high.
