ORLANDO, Fla. -- Looking to add depth and insurance to his receiving corps, Orlando Predators head coach Jay Gruden signed Anthony Bright to the team's practice squad on Wednesday.
Bright attended training camp with the Predators this past January, but was waived on the team's final cut down. He played in three regular season games with Orlando during the 2004 season, catching 15 passes for 237 yards and two touchdowns. His stats included an eight-catch, 108-yard performance against Los Angeles in the season finale. Bright added five receptions for 93 yards and one touchdown against Chicago in the post-season.
Prior to joining the Predators, Bright spent time in camp with both the Houston Texans (2003) and the Carolina Panthers (2002), appearing one in NFL game with Carolina in 2002. He also played two years with the Jacksonville Tomcats (2000-01) of the "arenafootball2" league. In his final season, he caught 121 passes for 2,035 yards and 43 touchdowns.
