ORLANDO, Fla. (Aug. 12) – The Orlando Predators will hold their 14th Annual Free Agent Tryout Camp on Saturday, Nov. 1 at Thunder Field, adjacent to the Florida Citrus Bowl.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. with the tryout camp starting promptly at 9 a.m. Predators Head Coach Jay Gruden and his staff will conduct the camp, which will consist of the 40-yard dash, the 20-yard-short shuttle, and various non-contact drills by position. The tryout is for all positions, including kickers.

Prospective players must be 18-years or age or older and may not be under contract with any professional team. The tryout will be held on a grass field and participants must be come dressed in shorts, T-shirt and grass cleats. No equipment will be provided.

"Historically, we have always had a lot of success with the open tryout camp," Gruden said. "Since the beginning of the franchise, the Predators have always ended up signing at least one player from this camp. For as much as we recruit, scout and monitor NFL cut lists, there are always those players that fall through the cracks. The Predators Open Tryout Camp is the perfect vehicle for those players to get their chance to be seen by our coaches."

Cost of the camp is $40 for those who pre-register (money order only, make payable to Orlando Predators) and $50 (cash or money order) on the day of the camp. Participants will be required to sign an injury waiver. Interested parties may pre register by mail by printing an application found on www.orlandopredators.com. Applications are also availably at the Orlando Predators office, 302 South Graham Street, Orlando, FL 32803 or by calling the Orlando Predators office at 407-44-PREDS.
