ORLANDO, FL - The Orlando Predators have been assigned defensive back Erick McIntosh, the League office announced today.
McIntosh (5-11, 180, Florida Atlantic) is entering his fifth season in the Arena Football League. The defensive back spent his first three seasons in the AFL with the Tampa Bay Storm, before being traded to the Iowa Barnstormers during the 2013 offseason. McIntosh collected 51.5 tackles and four interceptions in 13 games with the Iowa last season, and has a total of 12 interceptions throughout his career.
The defensive back played his college football at Florida Atlantic where he started four games and recorded 53 tackles during his senior season.
The Orlando Predators (5-3) will travel to Jacksonville to take on the Sharks (3-5) this Saturday, May 17 at 7 p.m. at Sea Best Field at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. The game can also be seen on ESPN3.
