Faith and Family Concert After Soul Game

PHILADELPHIA (May 16, 2014) - The Back-to-Back American Conference Champion, Philadelphia Soul presented by Parx Casino announce "Faith and Family Night" Concert starring Gotee Recording Artist Capital Kings, Sunday's Best Le'Andria Johnson, Latice Crawford and also performing CCM artist Dez Childs and Steve Hare. The concert will be held after the Philadelphia Soul game on this Saturday, May 17 at the Wells Fargo Center. The Soul (4-4) take on the Tampa Bay Storm (3-5) with kick off at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m. as praise and worship begins.

"We cannot wait to share our brand of music with the Philadelphia Soul fans," Jonathan White of Capital Kings. "This is an experience that we enjoy being a part of and we are excited to bring it to the great city of Philadelphia."

Capital Kings is an American Christian pop band. Jon White and Cole Walowac collaborated together while living in their hometown of Washington D.C. They formed Capital Kings by first playing in their youth group. "I Feel So Alive" and "You'll Never Be Alone" are two of their hit songs. Their success got them nominated by the Gospel Music Association for New Artist of the Year. Their debut album was released in January and entered the Billboard Christian Albums Chart in the Top 5.

Le'Andria Johnson was the season three winner of the BET gospel singing competition show Sunday Best. After her success on the show, Johnson co-wrote her Sunday Best coronation song, "I Shall Leap Into My Destiny", which topped the Billboard Gospel chart at No. 1. Johnson is the first Sunday Best contestant to win a Grammy Award for Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance. Her talent is abundant and she continues to succeed with each single and album she releases.

Latice Crawford was a contestant on season two of Sunday Best . She began singing Gospel music in her cousin's choir and hasn't stopped since. She continuously states, "I don't sing, I testify to a beat!" Since her success on Sunday Best, Crawford has been traveling, spreading the word of God across America. She also visited Ghana and West Africa where she met her husband. In January, she released her self-titled album for all to hear.
