LAST TIME OUT: The Skeeters won their third straight game as well as the four-game series in a 9-6 victory over the Somerset Patriots. The Skeeters have won 9 of 10 G against the Patriots this season.

PENNANT RACE: The Skeeters have 7 games remaining in the first half of the season and currently sit 3 games behind York for 1st place in the Freedom Division.

ALL-TIME AGAINST SOUTHERN MARYLAND: The Skeeters are 40-46 in the all-time series against the Blue Crabs (22-24 at Constellation Field, 18-22 at Regency Furniture Stadium).

AGAINST SOUTHERN MARYLAND IN 2016: The Skeeters are 2-4 against the Blue Crabs so far this season (2-4 at Constellation Field, 0-0 at Regency Furniture Stadium).

SCOTT FINDING THE POWER STROKE: Travis Scott already has 9 HR on the season which is nearly five times the total he had up to June 27 of the 2015 season when he was only at 2. Scott is also batting .314 (11-35), 2 HR, 7 RBI in his last 10 G.

HAGUE HEATING UP: Ricky Hague has been on a tear at the plate lately, batting .333 (13-39), HR, 4 RBI in his last 10 G. Hague is also on a 6 G hitting-streak, batting .409 (9-22), HR, 3B, 3 RBI.

FITTING FOR A PRINCE: Josh Prince has been extremely effective at the top of the

Skeeters order since coming off the DL on June 20. In 7 G back, Prince is batting .384 (10-26), HR, 3 RBI

BARFIELD AROUND THE LEAGUE: Jeremy Barfield has hit safely in 9 of his last 10 G, batting .315 (12-38), HR, 6 RBI. Barfield currently leads the league in RBI (44), Total Bases (121) and Extra-Base Hits (26) and is 3rd in average (.329) and HR (11).

CONTINUOUS LOOP: Derrick Loop extended his home scoreless streak to 14 consecutive games after earning his 15th save Sunday night against Somerset. Total Stat Line: (0-0, 0.00 ERA, 10 Sv., 16.0 IP, 12 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 18 K, 4 BB. Loop's 15 saves are tied for second best in the Atlantic League.

RECENT TRANSACTIONS: Today, the Skeeters released OF Tyson Gillies.
