BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - John Snowden scored the third hat trick in the last seven Bloomington PrairieThunder games to lead the team to a 5-2 victory over Flint before 2,849 people Saturday night at U.S. Cellular Coliseum in International Hockey League action.
The victory moved the PrairieThunder's record to 31-29-4-6 and tied the club record for most wins in its four-year history. It also pushed Bloomington seven points ahead of Flint for the fourth and final spot in the postseason playoffs.
Also, scoring goals for the PrairieThunder were Jon Booras and Craig Macdonald, who both had three assists. Andrew Martin earned the win in net for the PrairieThunder, 24 of 26 shots.
