
PrairieThunder Falls In Overtime

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. - Robin Bouchard's goal 43 seconds into overtime gave the league-leading Muskegon Lumberjacks a 4-3 victory over the Bloomington PrairieThunder at U.S. Cellular Coliseum before 3,051 people Tuesday night in International Hockey League action.
The seback dropped the PrairieThunder record to 14-8-2-2, but Bloomington managed to move into sole possessiom of third place by capturing one point for 32 on the season, one ahead of Fort Wayne. The PrairieThunder's next game is Thursday in Fort Wayne at 6:30 p.m.
Bouchard's winning goal was assisted by Todd Robinson. The Lumberjacks had jumped to a 3-1 lead after two periods on a pair of first period goals by J.T. Dahlinger 1:45 into the game and Bouchard with 1:11 left in the period. Dahlinger's goal was assisted by Brian Bicek and Jason Lawmaster. Bouchard's goal was asssisted by Robinson.
The PrairieThunder's Noel Coultice sandwiched his first goal as a Bloomington player between the two Muskegon scores with 11:19 remaining on an assist by Zac Pearson.
Two straight goals by Robin Gomez in the third period drew the PrairieThunder even. Gomez first goal came at the 12:12 mark off assists by Jason Lepine and Matthew Spiller. The second goal came with 9:42 to go on assists by Justin Sawyer and Mike Liambas.
The Lumberjacks had 31 shots on goal, one more than Bloomington. Neither team scored on power play opportunities. Sebastein Centomo was the winning goalie, while Andrew Martin took the loss for Bloomington.
