Power Quotes:
New York Head Coach Tom Sermanni: "This win works wonders for our confidence, going into games knowing you have a chance to win - and be behind - and come back to win is definitely a big boost for us and the players."
"I have said from day one that the character and the spirit of this team is just incredible. They went out tonight and proved me right again with regards to that."
New York's Krista Davey: "I watched a few balls skid through on the wet surface and did not run onto them in time. So, on this play, I made sure I ran into a position where I was playing for the defender to make a mistake and it went right over her foot and I was lucky enough to just run right onto it."
"Even from the start of the season we have shown some real perseverance. We started off real rocky with the three straight losses, but since we have found a way to win - even thought at times we probably should not have."
