Power Suffer Tough Road Loss to Moncton Miracles

(OSHAWA, ON) Durham's team the Oshawa Power suffer a tough 114-98 road loss to the Moncton Miracles. The Power once again started off slow seeing themselves head to a halftime deficit of 76-49.

Durham's team however showed a lot of heart battling back in the second half winning the third quarter 27-15. The Power would eventually get as close as 10 points, but were unable to sustain the energy needed to come away with a win on the second game of a back-to-back.

Nick Okorie had his best game of the young season recording a game-high 31 points. Okorie was red hot from three-point range nailing five of his eight three point attempts.

Amani Daanish continued his solid play providing inside scoring and finishing with 18 points and a team-high 7 rebounds.

The Power will stay on the road for two more games first in Saint John as they take on the Mill Rats on November 22, 2012 with tip off set for 6:00 p.m. They will then travel back to Ontario and face the league's best team the London Lightning in the battle of the 401 on November 25, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. to close out their three game road trip.
