Power Readying for Open Tryouts

Tryouts for position players will be held at Southpointe Fieldhouse, located at104 Cecil Henderson Road, Canonsburg PA 15317 on October 1st, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with registration beginning at 6:30am. Registration for the tryouts, and further information can be found at www.PittsburghPowerFootball.com .
Three players who participated in open tryouts held in 2010 were signed by the Power including leading WR Mike Washington, as well as QB Antony Morelli, who threw for 14 TD's in 2011 while seeing action as a backup and as a starting Quarterback.
The price for tryouts is $75. Participants will receive instruction and evaluation from the Pittsburgh Power coaching staff and ownership, including Power Head Coach Chris Siegfried, and former Steeler legend, NFL Hall of Famer Lynn Swann. Everyone will also receive a Pittsburgh Power T-shirt and a game ticket to the Power 2012 home opener. Space is limited and early signup is recommended.
