Power Lose 105-87 to Express at Home

(Mississauga, ON - ) The Power were within striking distance for the majority of tonight's matchup against the Express at the Hershey Centre. The Windsor Express took over early in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Power 22-5 en route to a 105-87 win. The Power's Nick Okorie led all scorers with 25 points, adding 5 assists and 4 rebounds. Eric Petty Jr. had another strong outing with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Chris Commons and Dominique Buckley led the charge for the Express with 19 points apiece.

The Express sprinted off to an early 15-5 in the first quarter. The Power battled back to cut the Express lead down to 7 heading into the second quarter. The Express started off the second quarter on another 10-3 run before the Power responded with a 10-2 run of their own. The Power went into halftime down 51-39.

The Power continued to chip away in the third quarter and managed to outscore the Express by one point heading into the final quarter. The Express quickly regained their composure, going on a 22-5 run early in the fourth quarter to take the win. The Power have fallen to 7-19 after losing their tenth game in a row.

The Power head to Brampton to face the A's this Saturday before returning home on January 16th to take on the Ottawa SkyHawks.
