(Ottawa, ON) The Mississauga Power looked to snap out of a four game losing streak tonight, as the team traveled to Ottawa to face the SkyHawks.

Both teams started off slow, shooting less than 40% at the halftime. The Power's Thijin Moses played the best first half of his young career, scoring 10 points off the bench. Jamal Crook had 9 points for Ottawa at halftime. Ottawa took a 35-33 lead at the half.

The Power came out the second half with renewed focus. The Power started off on a 11-5 run including a big block by Dwight McCombs that led to a Nick Okorie layup and a steal by Morgan Lewis which resulted in a fast break dunk and an Ottawa timeout. The Power continued to play well in the third, extending the lead to 11 by the end of the quarter.

The SkyHawks started off the 4th quarter on a 23-6 run, taking the lead on a straight away three pointer by Justin Tubbs. Ottawa then built up an 11 point lead of their own. The Power got within 2 points in the fourth after a Morgan Lewis three pointer to bring the score to 99-97. The Power could not complete the late comeback as the team fell 101-97 to Ottawa.
