Power Bounces Back from Heart Breaking Loss with 127-99 Win over Montreal

December 13, 2012 - National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada) - Mississauga Power News Release

(OSHAWA, ON) Durham's team the Oshawa Power defeated the Montreal Jazz to the tune of 127 - 99.

The Power were energized right from the opening tip as they jumped out to an early lead closing out the first half with a 56 - 42.

The second half was much as the same as Oshawa did not let the Jazz back into the game running away with the lead and never looking back.

Seven Power players were in double figures led by William "Bo" Harris who had a game-high 22 points and plucked down 5 rebounds.

"It's fun, it's really fun." said Harris after the game. " Coach is always preaching turn down a good shot for a great shot and that's what we did today we just executed."

Larry Diamond led the Power bench with 21 points, and Jaushay Rockett chipped in with 12 points, and 9 rebounds.

The Power now set their sights on handing the London Lightning their first loss of the season as they visit London on Saturday December 15, 2012. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.

When asked what the mindset going into the battle of the 401 was, Bo Harris simply said, "We're ready."
