Alaska Aces News Release
ANCHORAGE, AK- The Alaska Aces are pleased to announce defensemen Felix-Antoine Poulin will return to the Sullivan Arena in Glacier Blue this coming season.
Head coach Rob Murray made the announcement Thursday.
The 24 year old Poulin, a native of Ste. Julie, Quebec, didn't find the back of the net in 25 games for Alaska last season, but assisted on 3 goals after coming to the Aces from St. Thomas University in Fredericton, NB, Canada.
The 6'2", 203 pound blueliner scored 3 goals and added 12 assists for 15 points in 28 games his senior season at St. Thomas.
"Felix is a smooth skater who plays a strong positional game," Murray said. "He rarely gets beat in the d-zone or on the rush".
Before his college career, Poulin played junior hockey in Quebec and Alberta, and played one game of major junior in Montreal in 2008-09.
