
POSTGAME NOTES: Liberty Drop 65-100 Decision to Aces

LAS VEGAS, NV - Five days ago, the Liberty beat the Aces in their first win of the season, 88-78 in New York. Tonight, the Aces got out to a quick start and never looked back, beating the Liberty 65-100 in Las Vegas.
The Aces jumped out to a brisk 13-2 run less than three minutes into the game. In the first two quarters the Liberty shot 25.7% from the field while Aces shot 68.6% from the field. Despite the teams breaking even in scoring in the second half, the Aces 66 first half points made it difficult for the Liberty to come back.
Kia Nurse scored a team-high 12 points for the Liberty.
LIBERTY NOTES:
* All ten active Liberty players touched the floor tonight and scored at least two points.
* Tiffany Bias played a season-high 17 minutes and scored a season-high 9 points.
* New York shot 32.4% from the field and a season-low 14.3% from the three-point line.
* Han Xu played a career-high 16 minutes and scored 6 points.
ACES NOTES:
* The Aces shot 68.6% from the field and 50% from three in the first half. They finished the night shooting 54.1% from the field and 35.7% from three.
* The Aces outrebounded the Liberty 46-21.
* Kelsey Plum scored a season-and team-high19 points.
NEXT GAME:
New York travels from Las Vegas to Los Angeles to face the Sparks tomorrow at 7 p.m. in their second meeting of the season.
