
Postgame Fireworks Show on July 3 Postponed

WALLA WALLA, Wash. - Following the lead from the city of Walla Walla and local fire and city officials, the Sweets have postponed their 4th of July fireworks show.
The fireworks display was scheduled to happen at the conclusion of the Sweets July 3 game against the visiting Northwest Star Nighthawks. But with extreme heat entering the Walla Walla Valley this past week coupled with the combined dry and humid conditions, the guidance from city officials' determined that public fireworks displays were not safe for the region at this time.
A makeup date for the show will be announced at a later date. Tickets for the July 3 matchup are still valid for the game. Tickets for the rest of the Sweets games can be purchased at SweetsTickets.com
