ALLEN, TX-As if having one police officer on the team wasn't enough, the Wranglers are adding another for their Saturday, June 11th matchup against the Bricktown Brawlers. Chief Rushing of the Allen Police Department will serve as honorary captain in the Wrangler's final regular season game at Allen Event Center.
"Our officers are major football fans," Wrangler kicker and Allen Police Officer Garrett Courtney said. "I've enjoyed brining a professional football experience to the Allen Police Department.

The police takeover will be held in conjunction with the Wranglers' Fan Appreciation Night. Fans in attendance will enjoy $2.00 beer and hot dogs all night; a raffle for inaugural season memorabilia including an autographed Roger Staubach football will be held at the Wranglers information booth.
