
Poker Tournament Raises $1,300 for RiverKings ReachOut Fund

WEST MEMPHIS, Ar. - The Mississippi RiverKings and partner Southland Park Gaming and Racing teamed up on Sunday, January 17 for the hockey team's annual poker tournament to benefit the RiverKings ReachOut Fund at the Community Foundation of Northwest Mississippi.
In all, the tournament had 46 participants and raised over $1,300 for the RiverKings ReachOut Fund that distributes funds to non-profit organizations throughout the Mid-South. Past beneficiaries have included St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, North Mississippi Trail Alliance and DeSoto County Schools amongst many others.
The RiverKings return to Concorde Career College Ice at the Landers Center on Friday, January 22 at 7:05 p.m. in a rematch against the Louisiana IceGators. It's the annual Dachshund Dash presented by Autobahn Indoor Speedway. Come for the hockey and stay for our wiener dog races on ice during the first intermission.
