Joliet JackHammers News Release
JOLIET, IL - The Joliet JackHammers clinched their first playoff berth since 2002 and tickets for the 2010 playoffs are currently on sale now. The JackHammers will play either the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks or the Kansas City T-Bones in the first round.
If the JackHammers play Fargo, Joliet will host game three on Friday, September 10th at 7:10 p.m. Games four (if necessary) would be Saturday, September 11th at 7:10 p.m. and game five (if necessary) would be a 2:10 p.m. first pitch on Sunday, September 12th.
If the JackHammers play Kansas City, Joliet will host games one and two on Wednesday, September 8th at 7:10 p.m. and Thursday, September 9th at 7:10 p.m. at Silver Cross Field.
Playoff ticket prices are $14 for club seats, $11 for box seats and $6 for general admission. All season ticket holders can currently pick up their playoff tickets by stopping by the JackHammers box office. Tickets are available by calling the JackHammers box office at (815) 726-2255 or by going online at www.jackhammerbaseball.com.
Loose Gravel: The JackHammers wrap up the 2010 regular season with a four game series beginning tonight at Silver Cross Field. The Gary SouthShore RailCats head into downtown Joliet in the battle for the 1-80 Trophy.
