Playoff tickets on sale August 25

Single game tickets for all potential Governors' Cup playoff games will go on sale to the general public this Saturday, August 25 at 10 a.m. Tickets pricing will be $9 for lower level reserved and $7 upper level reserved.

The International League playoff schedule features two best-of-five rounds with four teams. The winners of each of the three divisions will qualify as well as the wild card entry - the 2nd place team with the best record. Round one will begin September 5 with the wild card winner hosting the winner of the Yankees' North division for two games.

If the Yankees hold onto their current division lead, they would host three potential round one games on September 7, 8 (if necessary) and 9 (if necessary). If they win round one, they would begin the Governors' Cup Finals on the road September 11 & 12 before returning to PNC Field for three potential games September 13, 14 (if necessary) and 15 (if necessary).

With the Yankees final playoff status still undetermined, tickets will be sold as round one, games 1-3 and IL Championship Round, games 1-3. Tickets for any unplayed games will be refunded.

Tickets can be purchased online at swbyankees.com, www.ticketmaster.com, in person at the PNC Field Box Office, by calling (570)-693-4100 or at local Ticketmaster outlets.

The PNC Field Box Office is open 10-5 Monday through Friday, 10-4 on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to the end of the game on game days.
