DURHAM, N.C. â Quebec catcher Rafael Pujols and Duluth-Superior outfielder Derrick Gibson have been chosen as the Daktronics Northern League Players of the Week for July 8 through July 14.
Pujols, a native of Bani, Dominican Republic, was 10-for-19 (.526) in five games along with three doubles, one homer and an .842 slugging percentage. He had a .545 on-base percentage during the stretch.
