Name: Sam Becker
The Details:
A Roseville, Minnesota native, Becker provides veteran experience to the Magicians blue line. After starting the 2013-2014 campaign with the Wenatchee Wild of the North American Hockey League (NAHL), he returned home to join the Magicians for 12 games at the end of the season. In his short stint with the Magicians last year, he had 2 goals and 5 assists to go along with a plus/minus rating of +3. Becker solidifies the Magicians defensive corps this season and will bring a valuable veteran presence.
Did You Know:
Becker played his high school hockey in the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) with the Hill Murray Pioneers. He played in two state tournaments as a member of the Pioneers, both times finishing as a runner up.
