Player Appreciation Month Gives Fans Great Ticket Specials

February 2, 2011 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Port Huron Fighting Falcons News Release

PORT HURON, MI - The Port Huron Fighting Falcons of the North American Hockey League will celebrate "Player Appreciation Month" throughout February as they offer special ticket discounts to fans.

The team has put all Attack Zone tickets, which typically sell for $8, on sale for just $5 to any home game in February. This is a discount of over 35% off the regular price.

Current season ticket holders will have exclusive access to a big discount if they renew their seats for next season during February. Existing season ticket holders can reserve their seats for the 2011-12 season for just $135 per seat in any section at McMorran Arena. This rate will guarantee a seat to every Fighting Falcons home game next season, at a discount of over 15% off last season's prices.

The Fighting Falcons will unveil a new ticketing policy and price structure at the conclusion of the 2010-11 season. Only season ticket holders will get reserved seating next season, as all walk-up tickets will be general admission.

"It is important to us that we show our appreciation to our young men, and I think giving them a larger crowd to play in front of is the best way we can do that," said Fighting Falcons General Manager Marty Haddad. "We also wanted to do something that shows our commitment to our fans, and this seemed like the best way to thank our fans and give our players the home ice advantage they deserve at the same time."

The team is playing their best hockey of the season under Haddad and head coach Bill Warren, who led the team to three victories in January, including a 2-1 mark at home, their first winning month at McMorran. The Fighting Falcons had struggled to a record of 1-26-1 before Haddad and Warren took over.

Tickets to any February game are available now at the McMorran Arena Box Office, and any season ticket holder looking to take advantage of the early renewal rate should visit the Fighting Falcons office behind the McMorran Arena Box Office or call (810) 966-3800 for more information.
