Pittsburgh Xplosion to hold open tryout camp for the 2006-2007 season

Pittsburgh Xplosion General Manager Freddie Lewis announced that the team would hold open tryouts on June 9th and 10th. The camps will run from 10am - 5pm. Tryouts will be held at the Club 4 Life in Monroeville, Xplosion's Practice facility.

Richard Hersperger CEO and part owner added, "We are looking for some talented players who possess the necessary talents to play professional basketball." The tryout is open to all who think they got game, and if you do, bring it because the competition will be fierce. "Our goal this year is to field a winning team with explosive offensive skills, lightening speed and tenacious defense to continue the success from last season," said GM Freddie Lewis, a four-time ABA All-Star with the Indiana Pacers.
