Pittsburgh Xplosion host final free agent tryout camp

PITTSBURGH, October 17, 2006 "" The Pittsburgh Xplosion will host its final Free Agent Tryout Camp on Monday, October 23 beginning at 9:00 AM at the Club 4 Life in Monroeville, Pa. The cost of the tryout is $125. For more information call 877-410-9900 or visit www.pittsburghxplosion.com.
The Free Agent Camp will feature selected invitees from previous tryouts, along with a number of first time attendees. General Manager Freddie Lewis, head coach Larry Anderson and the Xplosion coaching staff will be on hand to evaluate and identify players to be invited to the team's training camp slated to open on November 14.
The Club 4 Life is located at One Racquet Lane in Monroeville, Pa.
The Pittsburgh Xplosion will host its 2006 Tip-Off Reception on Friday, November 3 at the Palomino Restaurant in downtown. The club opens its inaugural season in the Continental Basketball Association on Friday, December 1 at Albany. The team's first home game will be played at Mellon Arena on Wednesday, December 6.
