Pit Bulls sign local young talent

Sunrise, FL. The ABA Florida Pit Bulls, South Florida's newest professional sports team has signed several local products that have made a mark in the South Florida area. Players with local connections that have officially joined the team include 6'4" guard Jarron Jones, a Lynn University graduate and cousin of former Heat star Eddie Jones. Also joining the talented group are former University of Miami forward Rodrique DJahue, 2001 FIU graduate and Europen player Karel Rosario, 1998 Miami Northwestern forward Terrence Shelmen, former University of Miami guard Marcus Barnes and former FAU standout Anthony Slater.

The Pit Bulls will be coached by NBA legend and former Heat star Tim Hardaway who will also be suiting up for the ABA team. The young guns are excited about working alongside the master of the "crossover." "It's really an honor to play and be coached by an NBA legend such as Tim," states Jarron Jones. "There is so much you can learn on a daily basis from a veteran of so many basketball wars."

"We fel strongly about the young athletes we have on our roster," states Pit Bulls VP of Basketball Operations Carl Collins. "The mix of local and national talent we've assembled will be second to none within the ABA."

Tim Hardaway and the Florida Pit Bulls commence their inaugural ABA campaign on Sunday, November 20th at 530pm at the Bank Atlantic Center against former NBA star Cedric Ceballos and the Orange County Buzz.
