Pit Bulls open season ticket sales

July 25, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Miami Majesty News Release

Miami, FL. The ABA Florida Pit Bulls professional basketball team opened its season ticket campaign last week and 127 season tickets were grabbed up quickly with 60 of them in the VIP seating area.

According to Demetrius Ford, Pit Bulls owner, "Quite frankly, the response surprised us as we hadn't started our advertising or marketing yet. People responded to a feature story in the newspaper about our huge tryout camp. This definitely exceeded our goals for the week and indicates to us that there is a great groundswell for exciting professional basketball at affordable prices in South Florida. As one of our VIP seat buyers said, "How can you pass this up - the entire season for about the same price as four tickets to a Heat game and Tim Hardaway might even suit up and play. Wow."

The season starts in early November; there will be 18 home games with great season tickets starting at only $199.
